Terms of Service

HeyFred gives you Fred, an AI assistant that records what you tell it, turns it into business records (customers, jobs, estimates, proposals, invoices), and, when you ask, sends messages to your customers on your behalf. We also provide a web dashboard for the same records and tools for collecting payments through Stripe.

• You must be at least 18 and using HeyFred for a business.
• You sign in with your mobile phone number. Keep your phone secure; anything done from your signed-in device is treated as done by you.
• You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you give Fred and for the records and messages created from it.

Fred uses artificial intelligence and can make mistakes: a misheard number, a wrong date, a name matched to the wrong customer. Review estimates, invoices, and messages before you rely on them, especially anything involving money or a commitment to a customer. You remain responsible for your business, your pricing, your taxes, and your contracts with your customers.

With your consent, HeyFred sends one-time sign-in codes when you request them. One message per request; frequency varies with your requests. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out or HELP for help, or contact lennart@heyfred.ai. SMS consent is optional; email and Google sign-in are available on the web. Login consent does not authorize marketing or messages from contractors. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

• You may only ask Fred to text customers who have explicitly consented to service texts from your business and have not withdrawn consent. Collecting a phone number by itself is not SMS consent. Your business must have approved messaging registration and a dedicated number before texting is enabled.
• You must not use HeyFred for marketing blasts, spam, or any message that is unlawful, deceptive, or abusive.
• Recipients can reply STOP at any time; we honour that automatically and so must you.

• Subscriptions are billed monthly through Stripe at the price shown when you subscribe (plans start at $39 per month). You can cancel at any time; your plan stays active until the end of the paid period.
• Customer payments you collect through HeyFred are processed by Stripe under Stripe's terms and paid out to the bank account you connect. We do not hold your funds.
• Fees for text messages and AI usage are included in your plan unless your plan says otherwise.

Your business records are yours. You give us permission to store and process them to run the service, as described in our Privacy Policy. You can export or delete them by contacting us.

Do not attempt to break, overload, reverse-engineer, or misuse the service, and do not use it to store or send content that is illegal or infringes someone else's rights.

HeyFred, Fred, the Fred character, and the software are owned by Hey Fred AI LLC. You get a licence to use them while you have an account; you do not get to copy or resell them.

You can close your account at any time. We can suspend or close accounts that break these terms or put the service or other users at risk, and we will tell you why. We may also retire the service with reasonable notice, in which case you can export your data first.

HeyFred is provided as is. We work hard to keep it accurate and available, but we do not promise it will be error-free or uninterrupted. To the fullest extent the law allows, Hey Fred AI LLC is not liable for indirect or consequential losses, and our total liability to you for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim.

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida. Any dispute will be handled in the courts of Manatee County, Florida, unless the law gives you the right to go elsewhere.
